Simple Summer Craft Stained Glass Frames

The kids and I made these simple Stained glassed frames. They are
so easy to make. The youngest (age3) and the oldest (16) all enjoyed the craft.
The photo above doesn't do them justice when the light hits them just right.

Supplies needed:

Picture frames- We bought our 5X7's at a yard sale for 25Cents
Various colored rocks - Bought at the Dollar tree
Elmers Glue
Paint brush or you can use your finger.
Hot glue (moms use please)

1. First take the back off of your picture frame and you can throw them
away or save it for something else.

2. Make sure the glass is secure in your frame. I hot glued the edges to the glass
to make sure it would stay in place.

3. Put your glue all over the glass of your frame. We used our fingers to spread
The glue out all over the glass. You can use a paint brush if you  have littles
that don't like the tactile experience.

4. Then simple choose the clear colored rocks and lay them in a pleasing
manner.

5. Do not move frames for at least 24 hours to ensure they are dry.
If they get bumped around the rocks tend to become lose.

6. Display them in a window . They are beautiful!!!

Warm Blessings,

Nikki
